I don't think its often the dude goes 30 seconds without Atreus butting in with some mundane and, as the game progresses, clearly unnecessary gameplay hint disguised as dialogue. Never mind his constant shouting and screaming in actual combat.

I'm not against what they were doing with the relationship between Kratos and Boy, but jesus christ, why did that mean having to make him a Navi?

I hated him until one moment about 2/3 through the game. Then I came to like him.

Hes a kid, hes supposed to be annoying and inquisitive. Kratos has murdered literal gods but Atreus has barely left his house before this journey.

yeah he starts out annoying, then gets bratty, then becomes annoyingly bratty, then he mellows out and is cool by the end of the game. Its done on purpose. The storyline isnt just about Kratos growing as a father, its about the son learning too.
