not at all, it's one of those things where you won't notice it until you watch both, but when you do notice it it'll make you go "ooh cool"

i won't say much other than that dave filoni and jon favreau who both worked on the clone wars (dave filoni especially being a major producer), are both directors of episodes for the mandalorian

i'll leave this up to your imagination, if you end up watching both clone wars s7 and the mandalorian episodes, you'll get it

although that's not really answering your question, i don't believe there are direct references to the mandalorian considering timeline stuff

i still haven't gotten into resistance yet but it is considered canon, up to you if you want to see resistance hijnks i guess

I want that Easter Egg so I'll prob suck it up and watch Rebels between TCW S6 and S7. I don't know if I want to watch Resistance between SWR and TCW Final Season tho.

I had a bad feeling about Rebels since it was first SW show by Disney they kicked TCW off the air. I wasn't sure about Jedi being alive and causing problems with the Empire so soon to A New Hope. Was afraid it would contradict the George Lucas era and/or just be filler for kids and casuals.

In this rare case I would say that release order is slightly worse, because you'll know who survives. The end of season 7 is tense as hell if you don't know who makes it out.

Did you watch Rebels before Season 7? I'm worried knowing the outcome of TCW S7 ruins the reveal in Rebels.

i don't think there's anything from s7 that could "ruin" a reveal in rebels, i think it's more the viewer going "hey it's them"

I'm doing release order. Just sucks because I only watch one episode per day so I won't finish Clone Wars S4-6 and Rebels S1-4 until likely next autumn. I'm sure it's all worth it, but got that itch to know what's the latest happenings.

Personally I'd just watch Clone Wars all at once then watch Rebels

I saw some Rebels clips beforehand which had one of the survivors. The only relevant reveal I can think of in Rebels isn't ruined one way or another, it's still a great surprise.
