Brigandine: The Legend of Runersia is probably my favorite game this year despite how much I loved Hades, but it's flawed in enough ways that I'm a bit hesitant to recommend it. There's a demo, at least.

There is no bad time to get on the Hades bandwagon.

13 Sentinels is worth checking out if you would like to see how many plot twists can fit in a single game without it collapsing on itself.

Paradise Killer is the last game I played through, and it's very charming and interesting. It didn't really hit for me as the detective game it's sold as, but the world and characters were fascinating enough that it might be worth checking out anyway.

I wasted SO MANY hours of my life on Brigandine on the PS1. Is this that series? I had no idea they had a sequel.

Only other 2020 games I played are Pokemon Mystery Dungeon DX or whatever its called and a tiny bit of Fall Guys

Yep. It's kind of a miracle it got sequel after 20 years of nothing. It's a Switch exclusive for now, (wish they had included it in a direct, or something.) but it's getting a PS4 port next month.

FFVIIR, Ghost of Tsushima, 13 Sentinels, Maneater, Fall Guys, Gears Tactics, RE3R, Animal Crossing, Savage Planet, Spiritfarer, Yakuza: Like a Dragon, Spider-Man: Miles Morales.

To a lesser extent, Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot and TLOU Part II.

A lot of these I need to finish to pass final judgement, but I've enjoyed what I've played so far at least. Looking forward to playing Hyrule Warriors later today and Immortals: Fenyx Rising next month too. Still undecided on whether I want to get Cyberpunk on launch or not.
