Current Events > Welp, just tried ordering Whole Foods delivery for the first time

Kind of an annoying experience - a couple items went "out of stock" while I was shopping. Also felt harder than it needed to be to find things - I don't know why it's organized into like multiple rows that only show 5 items at a time that you have to scroll through instead of just one page that you can scroll up and down on.

AND when I started it said I would get free delivery today but then like five minutes in that disappeared so the earliest I could get delivery was tomorrow.

ALSO their frozen pizza selection was really terrible and overpriced af.

And then yeah the shit is expensive, I'm used to shopping at Trader Joe's or the Commissary and I probably paid $20 more than I would have going to either of those. Just wanted to see what it was like >_>

Amazon Fresh is easier.

If you use Prime Now, there's more selection than Fresh but you have to make sure it's all under the same market (Amazon vs Whole Foods).

And yeah, the time slots disappearing sucks. That's just people snatching them up.

It's a bit tricky at first but I think it's worth the convenience. They run out of stuff but it's give-and-take with stock and seasonal items just like going to a grocery store.

I am just imagining putting an item into my cart in the store, going to grab a bag of apples, turning around, and seeing that the first item is gone lmao.

I didn't know about Amazon Fresh maybe I'll check that out next time.

for larger orders or annoying ones (I order gallons of water) I give a few bucks.

See if Prime Now is in your area. If it's just Whole Foods delivery then there are ways to order cheaper stuff, I'm sure there's guides online from bloggers or something like that.

Vons grocery delivery has worked well for me. It kinda sucked back when quarantine first started but theyve stepped up their game.

75 for 13 items lol that's ridiculous. Some of the stuff like the fruits weren't too bad but the meat was expensive. Gonna see what Aldi on Instacart looks like.
