I'm the Operations Manager of the state for the company I work for, a building company, so my LinkedIn messages just get spammed all day by tradespeople who want to know if we need more tradesmen to work for us.
Fuck. off. The only reason I have the damn app is because as an Ops Manager/on the Leadership Team of the company, I have to be visible in the industry (we focus on insurance repairs so marketing plays a big part of it). Fucking shittiest app. I hate social media. Even the only one I actually use, Twitter, introduced "stories" today... I had to create a full professional LinkedIn profile in my first business class at college. I appreciate that I have one but I haven't got much use out of it except getting notified when a friend starts a part time job.
