Did anyone else notice this? Republicans used to be the party of big corporations but it inversed.

Literally every big tech company backs liberal ideals.

Part of the problem is you have these giant public companies that are in the pockets of long establishment career politicians, both Republican and Democrat.

It doesn't matter which side of the fence you are on when the choices you think you can make are already made for you. And by people that never have your true best interests at heart, no less.

They are just socially liberal. They still want the tax cuts and the Dems give it to them. The only ones from Dem side against it are people like AOC and Bernie Sanders. But the ones in power like Pelosi give them all the tax breaks they want.

Whole bunch of Trumpers ITT playing the "both sides" card pretending there's no difference in policy on immigration, abortion, education, finance reform, ethics, healthcare, food assistance, housing assistance, and so on.
Yeah, neolibs want a X% corporate tax while Reps want a X/3% corporate tax. But to pretend there are no other differences is dishonest.

None of that is relevant to this particular topic which is about both parties being owned by corporate interests. The dems want people to have basic human rights while being exploited by the corporations. The GOP doesn't care if people suffer so long as they are being exploited.

I'm sorry. Who's pushing for an increase in the minimum wage? Who's pushing to actually increase corporate taxes?
Yes, politicians payout to their benefactors. Saying, "The Dems are bought out by big corporations" (read OP) is not the whole picture. And, again, it's just Trumpers playing the old "both sides" card. How many people ITT have actually shown a policy position to make their point? 99% of it is just hand-waving.

"Pushing" Nice way to say "pandering". Neither of those things will ever happen. Outward appearance of fighting for the little guy while taking billions from big corporate entities.
