The fact that you had to ask makes me believe you're a zoomer trying to piggyback on millenial culture.

Based on when it aired, I'd say it's at the edge between millennial and zoomer. Never saw it personally though so idk.

I doubt people in their early 30's watched it as they likely were in college or late high shcool when the show premiered. The demographic that watched Drake and Josh was likely people born between '95 - '00 so again, it depends if you consider that group late millennials or early zoomers.

I was born in 93 so I would have been 11 when the show came out. Which is probably the lower end of the age range for the show's audience.

I was born in '93 and can confirm that, in my area, it was relevant or slightly just under our demographic.

It was airing when I was in middle school, and I was born in '91. Everyone was watching it.

Born in 92. Drake and Josh was the shit in my peer group. But feel like I'm right around the cut-off. I know my millennial friend who was born in 86 would not have watched it.

For some reason I got it in my head that the show aired later than it did but apparently it debuted in 2004. Well I was entering high school that year and most of my peers had moved on from Nickelodeon then. >_>

That's probably why I didn't watch it.

Peak Nickelodeon was late 80s through mid 90s.

So Drake & Josh is definitely more zoomer adjacent.

Zoomers are 8-23 years old. That's a huge breadth. Millenials are 24-39. Drake and Josh is late millenial early zoomer, it ran from 2004-2007, 13-16 years ago. It's not really emblematic of millenials as a whole, it's closer to zoomer culture.

Same. Right around when the show came out or right before is when I stopped watching Nickelodeon in general. I feel it was for the latest of the late millennials. Nobody I've talked to around my age ever reminisced about it.

Drake and Josh is solidly millennial but it's near the tail end of millennials.

Kenan and Kel is also millennials but on the earlier side.

It's a teen show. You were 14 when that show came out and you weren't even an adult when it ended

I was into very different things than "teen" aimed sitcom shows at 14.

I also tend to view the audience of these shows to be a bit younger, like the disney channel sitcoms are all aimed at aspiring teens.

Is it really? 2006 is pretty late.

Perhaps we should form a baseline year. Which decade is actually "millennial television"? 80's? 90's? 00's? 10's?

I think most would agree that 1990-1999 is millennial television. But how far back in the 80's and how far into the 00's is a bit murkier.
