like all we hear are the cases and deaths and sometimes we'll see "Trump rally with 3000 people linked to 50000 covid results"

but outside of that i dont know.

when i go to the store everyone is wearing masks. sure youll see some asshole wearing it wrong or not wearing it, but id say 95% of people i see in stores are wearing them

yet rates are climbing climbing climbing

so is it events outside of that? if so what? parties? get togethers? is that it? i dont know!

because if wearing a mask when buyiing groceries is doing nothing, what the hell is going on?

theyre having get together, going to bars, traveling, etc

They're getting it by making a deal with Satan.

Its not an all or nothing scenario. Masks lessen the likelihood of it transferring. It doesn't eliminate it. We'd be at much higher numbers without them.

everybody has different immune systems
-few get really really sick and require care
--some of the few likely die from covid19

Even if most people at grocery stores are wearing them and wearing them properly, a bunch of them are likely wearing masks that haven't been cleaned in awhile, if ever.

A lot of Americans don't even wash their hands when they use the bathroom so I doubt they're washing up now.

Then there's all the people going out to bars and restaurants maskless. Just takes one infected asymptomatic person in a crowded bar to cause a couple hundred new cases. Those bar patrons then go home and unknowingly give it to their family members, who then unknowingly give it to their coworkers, who pass it on to their families, etc.

They'll then post on Facebook about how they ALWAYS wear a mask when they go out and they still caught it and say masks don't work

I left my house twice in the two weeks before I was symptomatic, both times just to go grocery shopping, and while wearing a mask. I washed my hands immediately after coming back and didn't touch my face at any point before that. So I either got it from an asymptomatic roommate, a roommate who tested negative, or from a shop despite taking every precaution except physically decontaminating every item I bought. I'm in what was one of the worst hit areas in my country, but this thing is incredibly contagious and easy to catch and my senses still aren't normal two months on.

Do you not watch any news? I only watch a little news and it's been easy to predict all of this getting worse. Even this place gives you enough insight to know exactly why it's getting worse and worse.

Asymptomatic spread, you could have it and not know and unwillingly spread it to others.
