But yes, probably some day I am going to die of a massive bacon-induced heart attack and just disappear for good, and when that day comes please don't try and track me down in real life, even if you think you're being considerate or concerned or helpful. That's kind of stalkery and just a little bit entitled - and if I'm being honest, 20+ years of paranoia about that sort of thing means I've done a pretty good job making it extremely difficult to track my info down anyway (I'm not even sure if my personal info on GameFAQs is right or not - I did tend to use bogus personal info a lot to hide my tracks back in the day for exactly that sort of reason, and at this point it would be like 18 years out of date anyway).

I've never had a beard like his in my entire life. I find the excess hair irritating. For most of my adult life, I've kept my beard either neatly trimmed in a goatee, or a full beard but close trimmed. Like how Riker/Johnathan Frakes usually looked.

Also, I actually still like most of my earlier creative work, and have parted with most of my prior employers on good terms. And our politics are radically different.

Oh, and I'm not an insane old man who thinks he's a wizard doing lizard-based chaos magic while writing masturbatory fanfiction about Alice in Wonderland and Wendy from Peter Pan.

(Most of my masturbatory fanfiction is about Sailor Moon and the Spice Girls.)

Clearly I asked you, because I'm not seeing how the phrase fits me at the moment. I do, however, know some of us have certain habits that have been addressed in the past. So, are you going to answer the question, or are you going to deflect it again?

My assessment is that Zeus is conflating you calling not knowing what happened to PO a "loose end" with calling PO himself a "loose end". The latter clearly has a bit of threatening vibe/aura, but it's also clearly not what you said or intended to imply, so I think we can chalk this one up to Zeus being Zeus.

I sensed there might have been either this, him throwing around words or phrases without understanding what they mean, or some off-chance he had a legitimate use for the term. Hence being why I asked a simple question, that he proceeded to deflect like most anyone who regurgitates a viewpoint, without understanding it fully, and has been asked about it.

Questions are always important. They're great at clarifying details, yes, but also for weeding out nonsense.

I'm not sure what greater significance you're attaching to it, or where you're getting the "fits you" from it (Does it tie into a post from whoever I have ignored/blocked there?). Regardless, under normal circumstances, when I hear "tie up loose ends," I'm envisioning a villain giving instructions to a henchman (the context under which I so often hear it or variations thereof), and on top of that the usage is in a topic about a disappearance. It's not "specific to you", it's specific to the topic.

When you'd said that, if I'm being honest here, I had thought you were saying I was being overly suspicious of your choice of words. And perhaps I am, out of habitual reflex towards your posts at this point. I'm sorry to say that much may be the case.

Now that we are on the same page, however, let me just say no such implications of villainy hold true for me. I simply like having closure in regards to what had happened to people who've been present for large portions of my life before no longer being there. Perhaps you may like the phrase "open end" instead?
