Spanish Flu was much more deadlier for young adults than older adults, essentially reverse of the current pandemic. What if COVID-19 was the same, where young adults make up the majority of the deaths?

I doubt it.

There's people who openly say they're not taking it as serious because it doesn't target their demographics.

These same people go around saying it's all a democratic hoax and can't be bothered to wear a mask because "muh rights!".

Many of the talking heads pushing the 'economy over lives' death cult in the beginning were essentially just as suicidal as they were homicidal, since they were in the at-risk age demographic. Being able to push that narrative while instead wiping out a swath of uppity Millennials would have no-doubt been a win-win for them.

There's crossover but I doubt it's just that. Mostly because I know people IRL who take it less serious and believe in it.

Didnt Spanish flu kill more young people because they were in trenches together rather than something inherent to the flu itself?
I read it was because young people have a more active immune system and that flu caused their antibodies to kick into overdrive and make them sicker. Or some shit.

Some people might take it more seriously, but people like Trump in government would have taken it even less seriously. Young people arent his demographic and theres a waaaaay smaller percentage of people in office that are of young age.

He already basically hand waved it away and hes in the most dangerous demographic for it now; just imagine his reaction if hed have nothing to worry about.

An old high school friend of mine has had loved ones die and he still downplays it.
