Games fun. A lot harder than mankind, but I'm playing on "give me deus ex" this time. the way the battery works is pretty limiting but it forces me to play differently here and there so it's appreciated

first boss was kind of easy but he did wreck me the first time. wish I didn't have to fight him but no big deal. still don't know where the tranq rifle is, been using the stunning gun and take downs mostly

You can buy one in China, pretty sure.

The non-lethal weapons are hard to find if you don't ask for one at the beginning.

If you're playing on the Director's Cut they change how the batteries work a little bit. Pretty sure they made it so they'd slowly recharge at least the first 2 cells?

Ah that woulda been a welcome change. I'm on the OG cut since I heard the director's cut was a lot jankier

iirc the direcftor's cut also added non lethal methods for at least the 1st boss

IIRC, it's tied to difficulty. Hard = 1 bar will recharge, Normal = 2 bars will recharge, etc. You're still better off using the consumables when you need them and getting the augs that speed up recharge time and the extra batteries. They didn't really change the system enough to make an impact in the DC - it needed an entire rework. Plus, there's still tons of consumables to recharge your batteries throughout the game, that as long as you're searching areas, you'll be hard pressed to ever run out.
