This game was supposed to change gaming.

No one should ever think this or buy into any such hype. That's pure marketing fluff, like if you bought Destiny 2 expecting "more than a game".

I'm not going to deny the rest of your experience (since I can literally watch videos and see the problems people have) but I've had the exact opposite time on PC. I'm impressed I can run it as well as it does. I'm running under recommended specs (cpu) and squeezing out 40-50 frames on high. A handful of drops in about 12 hours and a single freeze/hang-up.

I made a post yesterday saying that I put two hours in on an Xbox Slim and outside of stuttering on the opening movie I didnt have any issues.

Since then Ive put in about three more hours and have two hard crashes, and at least three times where the game almost crashed. Im also having issues where if you drive too fast shit takes like a good 30 seconds to even render on the screen. This shit is a hot fucking mess.

This shit reminds me of the 6th gen/7th gen transition when cross-gen games had massive differences in quality. It's fucked up.
