39 y/o Mother of 4, Maria Sanchez was horrifically killed at a New York City supermarket after the employee's HEAD was CRUSHED by an illegally built FREIGHT ELEVATOR in the store!!

It happened in the afternoon in the cellar of the supermarket store called HELL'S KITCHEN Food Emporum while loading the small dumbwaiter elevator with supplies

The contraption malfunctioned and then lurched upwards in a matter of seconds as her head was crushed by the elevator

Co workers discovered the horrific incident and her body in the cellar

She emigrated from Mexico 15 yearse ago and worked at the Food Emporum for 5 years as her husband is also an employee

She had children from 5 to 21 as they are now "inconsolable" after hearing of the tragedy

Her 21 y/o daughter, Jeylin described her as selfless and hard working who juggled 2 jobs to provide for the family. He said "She was working 48 hours per week. She never put anybody before her kids. Whether she had to work 7 days a week, she would do it. As an immigrant, you come to this country to work to provide a better life for yourself and for that place of work to take your life is unfair. The work conditions for minorities are overlooked and minorities were most of the workers at that store. Companies overlook us. They don't care about the safety of their workers. You die, they replace you"

The store is now shut down as an investigation is now in place..

At the time of the death, the store was crowded with customers looking to stock up on food before the impending snow storm

One customer who saw the gurney said "I came here, then saw the gurney roll into the Emporium and my heart stopped"

I agree. If my cousin dies, I will literally say "he was a piece of shit, good riddance". So you can look forward to that if I outlive him and this place still exists so I can report back.

It doesn't surprise me since I've heard of people getting crushed by elevators or trapped behind them, which usually ends up being the people maintaining them. What surprises me is that the supermarket hasn't been cited for having an 'illegal' dumbwaiter and closed until they correct the problem.

This is like that one story where some dumb ass motherfucker tried breaking into a house, but the window slammed down on him because that window wasn't having any of that shit. Anyways, then the family came out saying he was such an amazing person, he would open his door to anyone, etc. All that bullshit and im like, bitch please...stop. If he was such a great person, why the fuck was he breaking into peoples houses and shit? Not to mention, a rap sheet as long as my toilet paper. Guy was a real piece of shit I could wipe with my toilet paper and the only thing he would be remembered for is how he was a complete dumb ass, who a window of all things, killed him for.
