The anime isn't bad, it's all of the damn filler that is bad and weighs it down like with Naruto.

Canon wise, the fullbringer stuff is really the only "bad" arc IMO, but it was pretty short and not a big deal.

I swear if Bleach and Naruto got "Kai" versions that cut out all the filler stuff they would be much better received. Especially Bleach.

filler was pretty shit. hell, the only reason i'd say naruto was better is because i ignored it until they finished the series and just watched the non-filler arcs.

its peaked the first two arcs. Most of the filler was okay to bad, had some decent ideas and gave the human cast cast much needed screen time, but the last two arcs were terrible.

And this is just a peeve of mine but it kinda suffers from the same issue alot of other shonen series suffered from in that the MC is the least interesting character, both in personality and combat.

The only real bad part of the anime was the Arrancar arc since the pacing was so shit and they kept going to full filler seasons mid fight. It took them like what 7 years to finish that arc?

It's something it probably wouldn't have had to suffer from if it had been animated nowadays, since shonen series tend to get staggered seasons every year now, instead of needing to have 1 episode per week forever.

The Soul Society stuff was great, and I liked the Fullbringer arc until the ending. Honestly can't wait for the final season to get animated next year.

I just started a bleach rewatch with my gf a few days ago. It was my favorite anime before I got into Naruto.

I remember not liking the fullbringer stuff very much, but the ending of the arc was awesome.

Currently watching for the first time.

The weird emotional bits really put me off. Rose petals come out of nowhere while two siblings/lovers/friends gaze at each other during the climax. It's so out of place with the rest of the vibes.

I liked it very much around 2008. Aizen vs Ichigo was a must see for me. Of course the finale to that bout was, eh. Like expecting a large firework, and all you get is a pop.

I always liked it, there was a reason it was one of the big three for a awhile with One Piece and Naruto.

Filler was really bad though.

I am looking forward to hearing more music from it, it always had a really good soundtrack. Hopefully they can get the same people to make the music.

Another peev I had with the anime, both canon and filler wise was that every anataganist seemed to be a old enemy fucked over by soul society like, a thousand years ago or some shit.

Which somehow Ichigo and freinds always end up involving themselves in.

The Sternritter stuff was pretty bad and somehow rushed and drawn out at the same time. The fight between Kyouraku and that one guy lasted like 2 years and he kept turning into random shit everytime Kyouraku killed him. Dude literally turned into a fucking owl and then turned into more owls when he died.

I never finished the anime or manga but someday I intend to. Furthest I saw was when they fought those guys who were evolved hollows that could talk and looked human. But didn't finish it. I think i stopped when they did a filler arc inside a filler arc. Never seen an anime do that before

one of the reasons the anime ended I think was cause of poor tv ratings in Japan. it's always had more popularity in the west than in Japan. for whatever reason. Japan prefers Naruto and One Piece. I like One Piece too. never was that into Naruto

That fight only lasted like 10 chapters, what? Not 2 years.

At one point during the arrancar arc, the budget got so low that literally, with ZERO exaggeration, half of each episode was recap of the previous one. If you only watched every other episode of the Aurronierro fight you wouldn't miss more than a couple seconds of content.
