Jessie is a little tricky and I'll let someone who's actually played the games argue for or against her if they like. Just from looking at the wiki it seemed like she was already a pretty notable character originally who only has an expanded role in the remake but not like a new portrayal, but again, I haven't played either so I'm not entirely sure and I'm open to allowing her if people who've played it think it seems fair enough

I've only played the original. In that one she's a minor NPC who is only occasionally around for the first couple hours. From what I understand she's much more of a character in the Remake. Though someone who's actually played it can elaborate more.
