Current Events > Which of these Steam games should I buy?

I only bought three games so far on Steam:

1. Valkyria Chronicles
2. Dragon Age Inquisition (the complete edition or something like that)
3. Deus Ex: Mankind Divided

I'm considering maybe picking up about 2 more games, and so far these games have made the contender list:

XCOM: Enemy Unknown $7.49

XCOM 2: $14.99

South Park: The Stick of Truth: $7.49

Metal Gear Solid V: $4.99

Ori and the Blind Forest: Definitive Edition: $4.99

Blaster Master Zero: $4.99. I actually owned Blaster Master on NES and beat it, so.... I'm leaning more towards:

Blaster Master Zero 2: $4.99

Mass Effect 3 N7 Digital Deluxe Edition: $9.89

^It looks like it doesn't have the real ending, but I don't care that much about it. I can just look it up on YouTube after I get the crappy ending everyone complained about. Or... I can get:

Mass Effect 3 DLC Bundle for $7.49, which comes with all of the DLC plus the "real" ending.

This is a good bet. It's basically a skyrim clone. Very basic gameplay. More like a VN but with battles.

Yeah, I'm almost certain that I'll buy the first XCOM. I might want something dumb like one of the South Park games since I already got a bunch of RPGs. MGS V looks fun too. I played a little bit of it when I had a PS4, but I ended up selling the console and games.

That's a selling point for me. I have almost 200 hours on Skyrim. I know that isn't shit, but it's a lot for me for any game that isn't WoW, which I played hardcore for 4 years before quitting lol.

...What? How is South Park: Stick of Truth a Skyrim clone? It's a turn-based RPG. If anything, it's a Paper Mario clone.

But TC, if you like South Park, definitely buy that game.

The stick of truth isn't like skyrim you just have fart techniques that are reminiscent

Master Blaster Zero is not the same as the NES game. It's pretty good, haven't played the sequel.

Ah, ok. I only listened to a little bit of one review, and it sounded like it was just a remake of the original game with a few additions/changes.

XCOM 1 and MGS5 will give you literally hundreds of hours of gameplay. the mods for xcom also turn it into an almost completely new game increasing the hours even more. you can also mod mgs5 on pc to take care of some of its more annoying aspects which really helps its progression.

if you want more quality per hour then south park is a really fun time for the 12 or so hours it lasts. not much replay value there, but its one of the more consistently entertaining games iv ever played.
