-Thanos gets full stone gauntlet and "charges" up from it.

-Iron man struggles with thanos with a full gauntlet.

-Someone he doesnt just melt iron man decking him in the head in the tussle.

-Iron man literally strips the entire gauntlet of stones from the gauntlet in a literal second.

-Thanos doesnt feel at least the loss of power...

-I guess it was a mistake in cgi but Thanos looks right at the back of his hand after but they fix it when they zoom in.

-Thanos still has his whole inevitable false snap, still not noticing.

-Mind you Iron man is still off screen but thanos is looking at him this whole time so who knows what iron mans doing right now.

I get it but it should have been done in a smoother manner.

Iron Man stripping the stones from his own nanotech gauntlet instantly makes sense though. It's the same nanotech as his armor, he just had to touch it.

And just hitting Iron Man doesn't do anything stone related unless Thanos is actively using the stones.

Thanos was just too cocky and confident he'd already won.

He doesnt "charge up" from it. That's just the power of the stones coursing through his body, as you see everytime he adds one, and even when Hulk and Tony add them.

He doesnt need to melt Iron man if he has the stones and doesnt feel the need to destroy him. Thanos has shown restraint the entirety of the two movies, even if it was 2014 Thanos.

We have no idea what losing a stone does, so how can he feel the loss of power. Plus, 2014 Thanos never had the stones, so he has no idea what those sensations are.

Thanos might as well tripped when snapping and had the gauntlet fall off on to iron mans hand and itd be just as forced and stupid but at least a lil funny.

They didn't force anything, Thanos is repeatedly shown to be severely overconfident.

They might as well had duck taped padding to the part where your middle finger hits your hand to make the snapping sound for a more believable and yet practical counter to his snap.

The comics are blatantly worse about it
It was explained Thanos gets bored when he wins and ultimately will always cause himself to lose.

The movie, as completely terrible as it was and ignored 99% of the comics since 1939, did at least make it clear that victory for Thanos is never what he wants as he won't ever be happy.

it's not really forced if he's consistent and he has been consistent since the beginning of IW when strength testing against hulk in order to have "his fun".

i mean he literally sits his ass down and waits for the stones to come to him so..
