I played way more in 2020 than I have in any previous year, 65 according to backloggery. Define 'beat' however you want! I figure lots of us played more than normal.

Maybe Pokemon Shield? I play slow but I dunno if it was so slow it took me until January.
I think I beat Dragon Quest XI S in 2020, cause I know I took a break from it to play Pokemon.
I didn't beat Witcher 3.
I didn't beat Tales of Vesperia.
Animal Crossing: New Horizons has no ending, but if you want to consider KK's first concert as the end of the storyline, then sure I beat it.
I didn't beat Xenoblade DE.
I beat Cosmic Star Heroine.
I didn't beat West of Loathing.
I picked Octopath Traveler back up and finished one or two more characters' stories, but still two or three more to go.
I picked Kingdom Hearts III back up and finished Port Royal, but made no more progress beyond that.
I beat Paper Mario: The Origami King.
I beat Hades.
I didn't beat Citizens of Space.
I beat Trials of Mana.
I just started Tales of Berseria two days ago.

I play video games pretty slowly even in normal years, and paradoxically I played games a lot less this year. I don't remember dropping OR finishing any this year, and I'm too lazy to doublecheck my records, but I think pretty much everything I'm working on is a holdover from 2019

Whoops, I way overestimated the average. I guess I was thrown off by Shine and his trophy crew, assumed they'd all be in the hundreds. I should've thought about giant RPGs lowering the count, as they will likely do for me this year (gonna do more FFs and I have Xenoblade now).

I hadn't touched the series in many years, and I became something of a history nerd this year, so I played them just to get a sense of major events portrayed in them.

Unity was kind of ass, but I enjoyed learning about the French Revolution through it, so it kind of balanced out.
