I think more focused and more consistent government support across the board would be much more beneficial. For instance, I think some kind of rent forgiveness or rent relief would be way more helpful than a stimulus check. More consistent funding of impacted businesses would go a long way (a $2,000+ stimulus doesn't last long if your job is gone forever). Student loan forgiveness would be huge, or something like the government paying off $10,000 of your loans, etc. I think the stimulus checks are a nice gesture...but a band-aid that will let the government ignore providing more proper and effective aid. --- www.actsofgord.com .
