Lethal Inspection establishes that Mom will not accept the continuation of a defective product and well send armies of Killbots to resolve the problem. This means one of two things.
1. Robot Santa is powerful enough that Mom's Killbots were not capable of killing him and MOM eventually had to give up. 2. Mom didnt give a crap and let him go serial killer on the world population. #2 is in character with Mom but what we see in Lethal Inspection shows that Mom destroys defective robots as a matter of pride. She simply wouldnt allow a defective robot to exist and cast a shadow on her company, which brings us to option #1. It doesnt seem right that Mom would make a robot powerful enough she couldnt control it.
