To be fair Kumail made his name a schlubby comedian

two of the three other Chrises were already known as handsome actors before getting jacked

people seemed similarly incredulous at Chris Pratts transformation

Hemsworth and Evans have always been ripped, and Pratts physique isnt very impressive we just all knew him as the chubby guy beforehand.

Kumail was an average Joe like Pratt but his body transformation was much more drastic and impressive. Obviously all these guys have done steroids though so it shouldnt be a big deal.

Yeah, and I recall that he's been pretty open about the whole training process and how it's in no way a realistically attainable thing for anybody who isn't being paid a decent living to do it.

I do remember a fairly prominent twitter thread about him and mac from it's always sunny. I think it was a woman who covers wrestling or had a wrestling podcast. Iirc rob and kumail talked about body positivity and how they were lucky to be privileged and that's why they could get fit, and she was like that's great but really it's steroids. That was years ago though

i don't know why people are so quick to jump to steroids...these guys basically have the time and money to have a nutritionist, chef, trainer and spend the majority of their time training...its not unfathomable that they're able to achieve this look on their own, easier than the average joe could...as for a wrestler, they don't exactly have months in preparation after getting a role and are constantly on the road. someone like that leaning on PEDs makes a little more sense than someone training for a movie role.

There's a lot of reports that actors use steroids when bulking up for movies. Its all hearsay and rumors. It wouldnt surprise me if they did but they also have access to the means. However, dudes like the rock are clearly roided up.

I don't really care about the topic premise, I'm just glad I clicked because I found out so many new things. First there's this eternals movie coming out, and the fact that I recognize this guy! I've seen him guest star in a lot of shows, comedies and other bits of media throughout the years so learning this fact has been pretty cool. Did anyone see the big sick? I love zoe kazan.

After googling the eternals I really hope this ends up being good and not incredibly disappointing like inhumans ended up being since that was planned to be a movie as well.

https://medicalxpress.com/news/2018-02-effect-steroids-muscle-mass-strength.html

Men treated with testosterone who did not work out (T+NoE) gained nearly double the muscle mass as did those who received placebo injections but regularly exercised (NoT+E; 3.2 kg vs 1.9 kg increase). Of course, the increase in muscle mass among the men in the testosterone-plus-exercise group dwarfed both these groups, averaging 6.1 kg.

Nah he gave a response in an interview that heavily implied that he and kumail were on roids. Said stuff like they were just such natural alpha monsters and that's why they had such high testosterone or something. But I'm pretty sure that was after people were accusing them of doing roids

Also, who cares of someone uses steroids if they're not in a competitive sport/body building competition. Hell, Sly got caught with steroids when filming rambo 5, nobody gave a shit the, nobody does now.

This is all fake outrage to generate clicks. The author of this article is a hack and a fraud.

The main thrust of the original criticism at the time was that they were using the opportunity to be humble about what it takes to get fit and being charitable about why people don't or can't do it, but it's undercut by the fact that they aren't actually being honest about what it takes (steroids)

This is cherry picking because race baiters on Twitter gonna race bait.

Most people who are smart accuse the Chrises of steroids. ESPECIALLY Hemsworth given he was in Dancing with the Stars before Thor 1 and he looks dramatically different over only a few month period and he progressively puts on muscle every movie up until about Thor 3 where they probably figured if he did another bulk cycle it would just be too obvious and he always looks noticeably smaller during off-season...a tell-yale sign of steroid use.

The Hemsworth brothers are NOT naturally big dudes either. Liam is lean but not packing the cannons of his brother and they were built very similarly before each progressive Thor movie and both guys are clearly fit and have worked out their entire lives before Chris got that role and magically gained like 15lb of lean muscle in a few months...

Hugh Jackman is also an extremely obvious steroids candidate. He is simply too old to naturally produce the testosterone levels to produce that kind of size and definition and he gets more and more insane every movie despite getting older... Nothing a Doctor's prescribed few exogenous testosterone injections in your ass every week for a few months won't fix.

Pratt and Evans are suspect, but might be natty. Evans has been built like a brick shit house his entire life so him putting on a little extra muscle or even just him getting a pump for a particular scene might be enough to justify his legendary "Captain America transformation scene" where he has pecs bigger than his face. Pratt has always been a big guy, he was just fat, so if he lost the fat, of course he would have muscle beneath it.

I think Nanjiani is probably natty. He isn't even that big, he is just shredded. But I digress, to say people have never accused the Chrises of steroids, is basically ignorance just for the sake of race baiting.

And when I say "natty" I mean no exogenous test injections.

He probably is on a shitload of other supplements including HGH, fat burners, and others to look that shredded in that particular photo.

And of course, perfect lighting, a bit of oiling up to help make the abs pop more, and maybe a tinge of photoshop don't hurt either.
