Absolute steal for $20. On Switch too, it's the perfect portable game

i didnt like it as much as i thought i would. i got the the dungeon alchemist battle and gave up. its quite tedious and the 6 on 6 battles just draaaaag

Yeah this game is the shit. But you really have to like theorycrafting in RPGs to beat the game lul. I haven't struggled with most of the content but gotta admit, the final boss sequence took more than a try and the secret bosses several tries til I made a stupidly op team with Nautilid/Grummy (who is hilariously much better than his evolution)/Final Boss

Never heard of this game until this topic but it's got me interested! Looks like it has some depth and apparently it's a decent challenge? Definitely gonna look into it.

Yeah it's got depths in insane abundance. I don't think there's any monster that's like outright bad as long as you find a way to make it fit with the rest of the team. I spent quite a long time just like sifting through a bunch of monsters to find cool strats, and they make it easy to fit new monsters into your team because any new monsters you hatch will always be the highest lvl in your team/box - 2, and there's an item that raises the monster's lvl by 1 if they're 2 lvls below your highest lvl.

Yeah from what I've read on their Discord, pretty much every monster is good and viable in certain setups.

It's a pretty neat game, I dropped off of it after 15 hours or so for other games but I'd like to get back to it at some point.

Yeah I don't think it's good like all the time, but from Sun Palace and on, it's like good all the time imo, especially cuz you unlock a pretty big thing after. Early game really could've used a bit more pizzazz
