Of course. We'd have to lay the infrastructure first. But like Verdekal said, there would be a delay.

Imagine playing a fighter online with you being on earth and your opponent on mars? They'd have to make servers specifically for earth and mars. What if the playerbase on mars is super small compared to earth? Martian players would feel jipped in their online community. hmm....

Mars being terraformed is a pipe dream. Tunnel cities is the only reality that could possibly happen. Which I suppose would also be a pipe dream of a different sort. Hahahahhaha. I'm awesome.
