It doesn't matter what truly happens after you die. Ultimately, your brain works however you want it to, so you can believe in whatever you want and be happy. As for me, I know there's a Heaven for those who live righteous lives, because I believe there is one.

In traditional thinking...yes, there is reincarnation. But you should probably stop trying to think in those terms, since it can be self defeating to think of your spiritual path just in terms of this life or that life or whatever. A better metric is to just face how there's only really the present and that time is an illusion.

Materialism has been the dominant scientific paradigm for centuries and scientists will do anything to keep it

Ok maybe not centuries, but it is the dominant way of looking at the world. It's as close to evidence as we can get with science

It basically amounts to saying the same person gets multiple first person views of the universe, but unless we keep coming back as humans it makes so little sense
