I went there once to see the Motown museum and that was ridiculous walking through downtown

they had this cool tent with bands playing in the center though but it was fucking brickhouse

Texas is a big state, It parallels with Virginia and Miami....South of Atlanta is where you start entering the Holy **** I rarely see snow weather and south of I10 snow is a legend

They rebuilt the park concert area that was rarely being used right before the pandemic :/. They were hosting movies there in the summer tho. Sometimes I could hear them from outside my house a mile away.

Yeah? Thats awesome lol I was somewhere around the Dearborn area.. that Tiger stadium you guys got there is so fucking cool lol

still have some recordings from the bands playing - shame, I didnt really know where to go in the 2 days I was staying there

also lots of places look.. vacant? >_> not something I usually notice but like there were times it looked like a whole community went missing or something

Yeah. We definitely aren't a rich state. At the same time they're fixing up my city, the violence is getting way worse. Literally was a drive by that shot at the house across from me at the end of last year >_>. I don't have the money to really change anything, so I just gotta be fine with it I guess.

Where would you wanna go if you could? <_< here in MA we have a huge heroin and opioid problem. Like from what I've seen growing (even now still) it's pretty harrowing to think about how easy you could buy whatever.

There's a section 10 minutes away from downtown that's labeled the 'METHADONE MILE' where you'll see like a whole block full of addicts. The zone is a special moderated space JUST for them to hang around so you'll often see them go into neighborhoods where they're dozing off or slumped against a fire hydrant.

Does Flint, MI even fix that water thing? It's been awhile since I checked lol

I don't think I'd mind living near the lakes buuut that winter is no joke. I thought as a New Englander I'd survive that but nope :^(

I don't explore much, since I don't drive. But yeah, it definitely matters what area you're in.

A popular rap song came out last year with the line "Fuck a pandemic, Flint water still fucked up/They ain't ever send nobody here to help us"

So, seems it's still fucked. Double negatives are accepted in the rap genre, so leave that alone please lol.
