Do you think this was suicide?

53 y/o Christopher Stanton Georgia, from Georgia, who was arrested at the deadly riots in Washington DC last week is found DEAD at his home in Alpharetta!!

Dailymail obtained exclusive documents that show his wife call 911 on Saturday morning telling police there was "blood everywhere" and his body was found in the basement of his home!!

Family members were described as "extremely distressed" seeing his body as the report didn't list the cause of death

Officers removed 2 semi-automatic SKS rifles in his home

He was charged with attempting to enter certain property of the US Capitol Grounds against the will of the capitol police

At 715pm last Wednesday, he was among a group outside in violation of the district's 6pm crfew that had been put in place earlier that day to stem the chaos wreaked by pro-trump mob

When cops gave them several warnings, He and his group refused and were placed under arrest

Unlawful entry is a misdemeanor charge with 180 days in jail and a 1000 fine.

There are now ARMED PROTESTS across the US in 50 states on January 16-20 as the National Guard will be deployed during Joe Biden's inauguration but as well as across the capitols on every state, particularly if Trump is impeached.

Others in Georgia's group were arrested as well including Grant McHoyt and Eric Munchel, also known as "zip tie guy"

Dailymail has tried to get cause of death but police have not released the reason.

Do you think this was suicide?

It's not an unreasonable assumption, but without further investigation, it can't be said conclusively.
Really, it wouldn't surprise me if the reality of what he had been manipulated into finally hit him, and he just couldn't cope.

Very likely to be suicide yes. Sad that justice won't be served in this case.

That's a nice fucking house. It's in Georgia, though, so I can't imagine it's *that* expensive.

I wouldn't rule out murder. These guys have all been dox'd and there are a lot of angry people out there who might want to see them dead.

You're complaining that he won't serve up to 180 days in jail and pay up to a 1k fine because he killed himself? wtf?

He could go away for decades. And that's just the sedition and insurrection. A case can be made to charge him with felony murder since multiple people died while in the act.

I wouldn't rule it out either, but it wouldn't be my go to like it is for you.

Don't feel all that bad for him except for that he was able to be manipulated by such a terrible person

The story mentions the charges he was actually facing, not the fanciful charges you feel he should face.

It's not so much a "go to" as it is a matter that if it was simply suicide, they'd be more likely to just mention that. The fact that it's open-ended could mean any number of things. If they aren't saying suicide, the question becomes "Well, what else is there?" Murder? Accident?

EDIT: The reported injury was a gunshot wound to the chest. That's one weird suicide. However, suicide is the official ruling now.

I support this. Corpses should always be charged with crimes.

It should go without saying that I'm talking about if he hadn't killed himself.
