I'm never putting myself in a situation to snitch. If someone is doing something and they're stupid enough to do it with witnesses, that's on them. I'm not complicating my life over some criminal manipulation tactic dumbshit that has nothing to do with me.

You know why kingpins always dime? Because they sell "no snitching" to protect themselves and they dime to protect themselves. It never had any other job. You're an idiot if you think they're going down for you like you are expected to for them. It's simply a manipulation tactic that works way too well sometimes. I mean when someone broke into my car and stole my bike you best bet I called the cops.

It was a total waste of time and the cop seemed super annoyed that I even wanted to give my serial number to him.

I don't do this. That's not up to me to expose that and chances are you ruin your friendship and he stays with her anyway. Why would she trust you over him anyway? There's plenty of guys who are shitty boyfriends and good friends. It sucks when they're cheaters, but you can do much better if you just try to slowly convince him not be a cheater, rather than just run to his gf.

As in youd tell them in any scenario including if you and them aren't more than casual acquaintances?

I wouldn't say thats wrong but I wouldn't do it either.

Now if I knew someone was cheating on a friend of mine thats different. I was working outta town and a bud spotted a girl I was going out with making out with some other dude in front of her work. I was glad he told me.

Part of me wishes he waited till I was one my week off and not 1 week into a 28 day haul up north freezing my balls off and getting like 5 hours a day of sun. That was such a shitty 3 weeks. Lol

And if you could comprehend it, you'd learn something. Also, you know damn well, everyone on this board is never gonna be in a situation where they have to actually prove themselves.

The only difference is, I'm honest enough to know. Btw, if I was actually in situations where this was relevant. Id completely go the "snitches get stitches" route. That way dumb people I don't care about would take the hit for me if we got in trouble, while I get off and live my life normally.

You're not a good friend then. Not saying to excuse your friend's bad behavior, especially if it's fucked up, but you shouldn't go out of your way to tell their SO anything. You can talk to the friend and let them know what they did was fucked up and tell them that they should confess, but if you're a good friend you shouldn't intervene in their relationship unless things have become harmful or already are dangerous to either party.

To those addressing me. Cheating just doesn't sit well with me and drives my empathy through the roof. It is just incredibly cruel for that person to be living a lie they aren't even aware of. It is manipulation at the fundamental level of their being.

Cheaters cheat. Irreversible damage is done the second the act takes place. I may not be a good friend if I rat on them, but I wouldn't be friends with a cheater so it's no skin off my back and hopefully I help out the person being cheated on.

I'm not holding it against you. Im sure you're acting in good faith. Just not the way I'd personally go about it. I could see how someone would say I'm in the wrong more than you tbh. I just always try to handle problems in house. And the people that are closest to me are in that house. Also, you gotta know when problems are just out of your reach.

i just don't get in the situation. if people try to tangle me in any kind of bullshit, i immediately abandon hard and fast. learned to do it at work. too many times in the past i got pulled into hr and shit over something someone else did. so now i'm just like swoosh, gone. voosh. i don't even let people gossip to me. i don't want that shit getting back to me in any way.

everybody knows it by now. so they don't try to talk to me about shit. and that's how i like it. i mind mine. you mind yours. and we're cool.
