This was a newer second job I recently took about 3 months ago.

Anyways he met my wife and liked her a lot, offered to have her come in some days too.

Me and her liked this a lot, as the idea of sometimes working together excited us.

Anyways, 1 day he kinda weirdly took her to side and made a weird sexual joke to her. She found it awkward and creepy and made it obvious she didn't find it funny. But I told her he was just a old school weird type.

But then he did it a second time and was more aggressive with the joking and inserted him self with her, into the joke. She then again said that made her uncomfortable and changed subject to another joke.

This time he called her in this week, and got her alone. She said it was much less joking. Him directly saying weird things like he wanted to hug and hold her and if she wanted to meet him in private he had perfect place.

She said she still wanted job, but to not ever let him take her off alone.

Anyways he called last night saying he needed her for special job today and she is all creeped out and worried.

So we decided we are both going to just quit.

My question is, should we go in today and tomorrow, collect check monday then quit.

Or announce our intentions to quit today. I'm worried he seems like type if we quit now, he'll never pay us.

I'd just quit

Don't have to put up with that

It's illegal to not pay someone if it comes to that

You could suggest you'll take his ass to court if he don't pay. Along with blatant hostile work environment. If he's not completely stupid he'll fold at that.

If that job has an HR department, I'd complain.

It doesn't, he's the owner of a small company.
