I'm peeved they didn't come with the recalled plastic Pokeballs and that I didn't get the pink ball for Mew or the test tube tank for Mewtwo, but they're all sealed. I could easily flip them for profit, but I'm honestly leaning towards opening them and putting them in a display case. I love Pokemon an awful lot and am pretty much who these are intended for in terms of enjoyment. Grew up catching them all, so this is a brilliant addition to my collection. Don't know when I might open them, though.

Seems a waste to open something thats been kept pristine for twenty years, but if you are that big of a fan, do what you want.

You have no idea what this internal struggle is doing to me right now, tbh.

Is this the toy set that had like the Psyduck that shot water out of it's mouth?

Whoa, I remember those toys. If you decide to flip them, how much do they go for anyways?

Yup. But the Blastoise and one other is made of hard plastic rather than soft vinyl!

I could make about $400 off this set.

For $400 I would personally keep it but if you need the money then flip it.

Could you sell them and buy opened ones in decent condition for a fraction the price?

Seems the best of both worlds.

I would keep them then, in that case.

On the flip side it also seems like a waste to spend all that money and not enjoy it.

My collections stay in the display box if I buy them sealed. I feel your problem. For you though, they're completely sealed and can't be displayed unless you open them. IMO, open and display them in a case if you'll keep them long term.

I don't NEED the money. I've got plenty to get by on. But this is one of the toy cornerstones of my childhood.

My god, guys. They even SMELL like 90's Burger King when you open them. Pulled Togepi beanbag and Raichu lightup figure so far. Fuck it. I'm opening them all. Gonna make a video, too, because I've been getting shit from other Pokemon community members about how I'm just trying to turn a profit (even if I did, fuck em) but I like to put my money where my mouth is.

Great to hear! Love to hear someone enjoying what they love.

I have like no Pokemon nostalgia and even I have a huge soft spot for that specific toy line, I remember it being such a big deal
