Current Events > So I've acquired a whole set of sealed Pokemon Burger King toys from the 90's.

I'm peeved they didn't come with the recalled plastic Pokeballs and that I didn't get the pink ball for Mew or the test tube tank for Mewtwo, but they're all sealed. I could easily flip them for profit, but I'm honestly leaning towards opening them and putting them in a display case. I love Pokemon an awful lot and am pretty much who these are intended for in terms of enjoyment. Grew up catching them all, so this is a brilliant addition to my collection. Don't know when I might open them, though.

Yup. But the Blastoise and one other is made of hard plastic rather than soft vinyl!

On the flip side it also seems like a waste to spend all that money and not enjoy it.

My collections stay in the display box if I buy them sealed. I feel your problem. For you though, they're completely sealed and can't be displayed unless you open them. IMO, open and display them in a case if you'll keep them long term.

I don't NEED the money. I've got plenty to get by on. But this is one of the toy cornerstones of my childhood.

Gonna make a video, too, because I've been getting shit from other Pokemon community members about how I'm just trying to turn a profit (even if I did, fuck em) but I like to put my money where my mouth is.
