Anyone who puts in 40 hours a week or more should not only make enough to pay their bills, but have money left over to save and invest. What does this living wage entitle you to? -small house? -being able to raise a small family (one or two kids)? -a brand new 4 door compact car/minivan? Living wage means just that, a roof over your head and food. It would be nice to save a little bit for later as well. I really don't think people expect the privilege of being able to buy the latest video games and technology at their whim unless they're paid handsomely.
