Shoutout to the poor schools too who didn't have screens and instead had to copy notes off a brick wall.

My teacher told us that they don't make the lightbulbs for overhead projectors anymore and when the last one burns out we'll never have any again. It was always hella suspenseful for me when they'd wheel one of those out and i'd be thinking to myself "is this the day school changes forever?"

I remember buying transparency sheets and printing off pictures for presentations in school. The teachers were pretty impressed that someone would actually go through the effort of doing that.

Ours were all metal and painted some funky blue green color.

Anyway I'm sure they can be rigged with some other light source.
