In fact, honestly, I think this makes the hedge funds' position worse. One of their escape routes was hoping that FOMO retail traders got in and then panic sold them their stock when it dropped some. This is almost like closing off their own escape route.

All brokers are free now. The only thing they usually charge for are options trading (Ameritrade charges .65 cents) and buying OTC stocks ($6.50), so very miniscule fees.

SPCE back over $50. I am actually much more exposed to SPCE than GME today so this is having a bigger impact on me than the more chaotic GME stuff.

I bought $50k at $12.95 yesterday, sold this AM at $13.45 for $2k. Bought back in at $12.92. Its not 300% gains but this has been the case for the past month.

Robinhood done messed up.

Do you understand that 300% gains, like, practically never? It happened here with GME and AMC but those are incredibly rare instances. There is nothing wrong with taking a continued 3% gain every month.

It happens for him a lot because he buys OTM warrants. But uh, it also happens a lot for buy and hold investors. They just hold for years to achieve it.

Do you understand that if you go long on good positions, 300% gains are not as crazy as you think? Once again, the AVCT discord server is filled with people who have made various 3x, 5x, and 10x trades last year, mostly on warrants.

Don't worry, now that I'm close to having your kind of money, I'll show you how it's done.

Now these 300% meme stock trades are certainly a different story.

I didnt say longer. Ive been investing since maybe April 2020. You clearly do more research and spend way more time understanding these things than I do. Thats not an insult, its actually a good thing. I simply go with what others tell me and thats really it. You seem to be getting upset at me for some reason for having a different mindset than you when it comes to stocks.

It's just so frustrating that Robinhood pulled this because I loved their interface and how simple everything was. WeBull seems a lot more complicated.

Sorry, I misread.

I have about $100k from working and saving. Using that $100,000 (usually $25k - $75k at a time), Ive made $22k in gains in 2020. That was through a host of stocks, like 20, ranging anywhere from $100 gains to $6,000 gains.

I cashed out when AMC dropped to $11. That plus a couple of other small things roughly tripled the small amount of money I put in.

Does seem like the rest of the stock market is doing well so I assume all you guys are doing fine.

I took $12k of my $22k gains from 2020 and put it onto a Roth IRA retirement fund. Thats up like 18% in the past year.

In 2021, as of now, I am up about $7k.

If I were Moonroof, there's no way in hell I wouldn't be throwing 75k at AMC in the 7s. Literally worth more than that without the meme stuff, post-Covid
