He does shoot himself in the foot often, so it isn't like people are spreading lies about him. Most of the time, I see people bring up shitty things he admitted to doing in the past.

Some of the stuff he says is really bad though. I get that he has problems, but there's lines even he shouldn't cross.

I think he's genuinely a guy with some social issues and such. But he definitely intentionally plays up the weirdness to gimmick levels. Dude just likes saying silly shit and seeing how people respond to it.

He is often very receptive. I dont know how much he typically takes away or if it sticks but he has often asked for advice or thoughts even when they aren't necessarily pleasant ones to hear.

Duncan is infinitely more likeable than her tbh. She'll post these intentionally provocative (antagonistic is actually a better word) generalized statements then act like anyone who disagrees with it is a huge bully and just being mean to her for no reason.

Also she will literally block anyone who provides any kind of criticism no matter how polite, constructive, or well meaning said criticism is.

I'd argue she's legitimately one of the worst posters on ce.

And thats overlooking her incredible ability to make literally everything about her, her victim complex, and her forays into full-blown misandry.

Joestar is one of the worst posters here, if you dislike toxicity, but she does make some excellent popcorn (that she doesn't want to share.) So much for trying to avoid drama eh. I think people gave up trying to help her once they realized she just craves attention and isn't really looking to improve.

Then one day I had the audacity to say maybe all men aren't predators and suggest she spend less energy focusing on negatives and try to focus on more positive things.

So of course she got the last word in, acted like she was attacked, and blocked me.

Its actually kinda funny in a way.

I used to be nice to Duncan. He said some messed up stuff yeah, but I still tried to be nice.

But then he decided to ignore myself and a few other people because we nicely tried to calm him down when he was freaking out because he was afraid our government would use nukes to enforce quarantine last year when the pandemic was picking up.

It was then I realized he doesn't want discussion, what he wants is people to feed into him, keep his mind fixated on one thing, and doesn't want to be told anything that doesn't align with his own thoughts. His enablers always rushing in to defend and ignore what he does keep him in that mindset which is dangerous, regardless of his own personal issues.

When she is "normal" and not melting down she is fine. Had a few decent conversations in the past, but she hates me now since I am a popcorn lover. I think she may be lurking in my discord just to get leaks. That said, I've always been open about my love of popcorn here. I have tossed a few tips to her too, but she spinned it as victim blaming. Like the advice could be as basic as "Lock your doors to prevent burglaries" and she will scream "Victim blaming."

That's not entirely true, but he's EXTREMELY stubborn and a real pain to get him to stop doing the things that get him into trouble.
