Warner Bros. seems to have a slight fear of Robin. He's a cop in the Dark Knight trilogy and dead in the DCCU. (Given away in a trailer, therefore not a spoiler.) I wonder if it might be for the best if they were to skip him being Robin and go straight to him being Nightwing. Wearing black and having a gritty name would certainly endear him more to DC's love for edgy content. They could call him "Robin" during the flashback when he's a circus performer.
