i've been enjoying Disco. it's not great, but it's getting better. The changes for S3 opened up a ton of potential, while hopefully the changes for S2 will carry over to Strange New Worlds. Lower Decks has definitely been the standout, though. Picard had a fine premise, but the execution left a lot to be desired. but that can be fixed.

I can't wait to get to STD and STP myself just to see how bad they really are.

I thought the first half of the first season of Discovery was a bit rough, but it has improved as it went along.

people tearing down Michael because she's a black woman.

While a lot of my complaints about Discovery have to do with Michael, they are more based around the fact that early on they spent way too much time focusing on her and ignoring pretty much every other character. Star Trek has always been an ensemble show and they seem to have forgotten that at the start of Discovery.

no, people tear down Michael because she's an irritating Mary Sue

I was gonna post about this the other day, I watched Discovery season 3 and it just sucked, idk how else to put it. I'm a liberal guy, i'm all about equality and inclusion but this show shoves it like an anvil over a cliff. Someone will take this opinion as me being insensitive but man, a bit more focus on the sci-fi plot please.
