I never played it but I would guess the remake is better. I heard the original game had some bugs in it actually. Not sure if those bugs are still in the classic version that is in Collection of Mana. But I would assume it's not in the modern 3d remake

Absolutely yes. The original game still has some of the best gameplay, music, and vibrant color palette on the SNES. Plus you don't have to deal with Carlie's annoying ass voice.

I couldn't get far into it because the combat is so slow and unresponsive, and even the menu lags a lot. Amazing aesthetics, though.

Not the official one. I can't get past how fucking fuck the translation for Charlotte is.
