I really hate men who think they have any say let alone write laws on abortions. It's literally not their body so they shouldn't have any say whether a woman should or should not have one.

Also, that there are any good 2D Sonic games. They are all terrible.

I dislike the idea that you're a bigot if you don't like a movie that's progressive. Quality cinema, engaging characters, and a good story are what matter first and foremost. I'm not going to see a film that looks boring, and that I've heard from others is boring, simply because the protagonist is Black or female. I'm pro-inclusion. But inclusion doesn't mean anything if the characters aren't good enough to hold the audience's interest.

Basically, I dislike the idea that *anything* is beyond criticism. That's how extremism sets in. "Questioning our methods is unpatriotic." "Second-guessing us is blasphemous." "Calling us out on bullshit efforts is racist/sexist/fascist, etc."

Just the insane opinions. You know the ones in this board tend to shit out.

the thing is, most men do not have to deal with these issues. women do have to deal with these issues. it would make more sense to have someone who knows exactly what to do and has experienced these things write a law on this than someone who does not know what its like and likely does not care.

I don't really care about this obvious dog whistle of a post but the bolded part is a an opinion I struggle not to challenge when expressed so boldly. Cinema is a visual medium firstly and most importantly, storytelling and characters are not required to make a good film. Sadly most people seem to share that opinion and I'd be mentally exhausted if I challenged any slight expressions of it.

Same for people who think TV is better than movies, especially if they bring up the length allowing for better character development. Makes me think they're a total idiot and I usually have to say something

Proper storytelling and characters are important in any plot-driven narrative. You have to agree that the protagonists have a worthwhile plight or are actually stand for what they're supposed to if you want to get invested.

Why do you think pro wrestling died for me? I'm of the opinion that you need to carry it in the ring first and foremost but if I can't stand anything but the in-ring action, eventually it'll just sour.
