Animal Crossing is now the second best-selling game ever in Japan after Pokemon RGB, with 9.19 million copies sold there. Pokemon RGB has 10.08 million copies sold, so ACNH will probably be the best-selling game in Japan ever sometime this year.

I had no idea Clubhouse Games pulled those kinds of numbers. It seemed to be a really low-profile release here in the US - I guess it was mainly for the Japanese market or something?

Jesus Animal Crossing. Had no idea it was doing that well even though I knew it was doing well.

Also solid chance of Animal Crossing passing GTAV for the biggest first year sales ever (currently 34 million copies) - it just needs to do 2.8 million this quarter. Its currently far outpacing that.

Ring Fit Adventure seems to have some long legs, almost 3 million over the last quarter despite being a year old during that time.

I wonder if Animal Crossing can surpass Mario Kart 8 Deluxe for the number one spot, that's quite an achievement in itself.

There is a slight majority of Pikmin 3 sales from outside of Japan, but it did do disproportionately well in Japan. Of course even if it didnt it would still be the highest selling Pikmin game I think!

Mario Party still selling very well despite zero updates since launch. Sad!

Sad to see Xeno drop off so heavily like that. Yay for Pikmin though!

Im surprised a real MK9 hasnt even been announced yet. I mean the Switch port of 8 is doing well, but an actual brand new game would be cool

Guessing they'll save MK9 as the next console's big launch game. With 8 still selling this much, they really don't need to release a sequel on the same console.

We need a Mario Kart Ultimate. The lack of Diddy Kong is frustrating. But the lack of battle mode stages and not having elimination balloon battles is almost problematic. But overall its a pretty good Mario Kart game. Im glad its doing well.
