Uh yeah? Invested wisely or not that amount of money would change most people lives. Except for those that have so much money that millions of dollars is just pennies.

That amount would greatly contribute to an early retirement.

Of course it would. It would completely remove my debt, I'd have a few hundred thousand to invest leftover and I can dedicate more money to make returns in the future or just spend in myself. I'd be set for life and would be happy to stick with my cruisy job.

Yes, keep my decent job, put in a down-payment on a decent house I want to live and invest then into portfolio, HSA and IRA every year year and I'm set for life.

No, it'd be nice and reduce the amount of time I need to work but it's not enough to retire with. Honestly where I live that'd just be enough to buy an ok house.

I only spend like 15k a year so that's enough to immediately retire

It would make things easier by paying off my debts and giving me some emergency/retirement savings, but it wouldn't really change my current lifestyle all that much. Whatever I'd spend aside from paying off debts, I'd spend slowly.

Kinda. It's not enough to retire asap and buy an ideal home (which is like my main goal in life), but by investing it and such to make it bigger, I'd get there. It'd be a massive jump from where I am now, though.

Buy home outright for half. Invest 400k. Old fj40 and a skate park in my yard. Kayak, two brand new top end custom bikes, a yamaha banshee, an old fj-40 built up, and a cheap ass daily driver like a used smart car and still have 30k or so left in savings.

I'd keep working but fuck yes it'd change my life.

No, but if I had invested that much in January, I would have made over $18k in dividends. The dividend amount would vary month to month, but I'd be totally fine for life without needing to work.

This

At most id maybe move to a bigger house and pay off the mortgage

But its not "quit my job money"

Sure would be "not too worried about getting laid off money" or maybe "help mother in law retire money"
