Parkinson basically just said to grab Potter, and then McGonagall just sends the whole of Slytherin to be locked in the dungeons. Then some of the Slytherins (according to Tom) went to fight alongside the Death Eaters, while Malfoy and his goons sabotaged Potter's attempt to retrieve the diadem of Ravenclaw from the Room of Requirement.
