Essentially Im saying that it doesnt matter if its two people. Obviously dont meet up if someone mightve been exposed, or if either of you plan on seeing older people especially anytime soon, but those are common sense. I would hope at least lol

There is only one person that I spend time with and I am not going to completely cut myself off from all human contact beyond passing by people when I buy groceries. That is somebody that I have been close with for a long time though, not meeting up with new people.

Theres a lot of nuance to any given situation where meeting up with people you actually (think you can) trust is either stupid or clearly fine.

I voted confirm though cuz if someone takes that risk and ends up getting rona and giving it to someone else they care about, thats on them, someone telling someone else what to do isn't exactly going to deter them anyway so...

that there is no reason for people who have such a small risk of succumbing to the virus being convinced that they have to remain isolated, would be my guess.

really my whole belief is if you don't want to get sick then don't go out and meet with people, but don't presume your situation is the same as everyone else's. that to me seems more than fair...

I'm agreeing with all the people saying a pair of individuals meeting up isn't unreasonable. I'm using that article as my justification, because we've been told since the beginning of this to listen to the experts, and the experts are saying young and healthy people can gather with reasonable precautions. So anyone arguing otherwise is going to have to explain why these scientists are wrong and they are right.

I'd give it a C at this point. Does depend on the circumstances, but like I don't think it's fair to expect someone to quarantine indoors for over a whole friggin' year. It's fine to get out at least once and do something as long as you're taking reasonable precautions.

if you're going on a first date, you cant answer these or expect the other person to answer these honestly. if they're looking to date and willing to meet up with strangers, you cant assume that you are the only one. and you cant expect them to flat out tell you you're not the only one they are seeing. people have too much shame to say "oh yeah im going on a date with a different guy every other day, gotta get in as many as i can"

and what if the date goes well? then you end up banging, and that increases contact and risk of infection. i dont know about others, but i dont usually go on dates planning for them to go poorly

I'm just pissed about people not doing their parts. I've been fully isolated for months now, and I could get back to my life safely a whole lot sooner if people would just do their fucking parts.
