Its faster-paced and it has a deceptively cheerful tune but honestly they sing the song fairly similarly. I agree Jules is the superior version but the original has its positives. The dichotomy of the lyrics and tune is interesting.

As much as I love Tears For Fears in general, I do think Jules' cover is the better version.
