Easily the best combat behind Xillia 2, which doesn't really count against Xillia because X2's a direct sequel. It's not particularly great story-wise, but it's got fantastic pacing. If you like the Sphere Grid from Final Fantasy X, Tales of Xillia has a similar system. Can feel a little unfocused and like the story isn't particularly pressing but then the last chapter is amazing and makes it all worth it. Combat, characters and music are all fantastic throughout.
