I haven't seen Wonder Woman '84, but WandaVision isn't portraying Wanda in a positive light, or trying to make the viewer believe that she's making the right choices.

Monica is sympathetic towards her, but everyone else sees her as a threat, and considers what she's doing as villainous.

True, but Wonder Woman didnt knowingly control what happens in 1984

Probably the fact that literally everyone else knows that what is happening is not right or normal.

Whereas WW84 didn't acknowledge a single thing.

i'd argue she's raping everyone in town. or at least, rape analog. i don't think anything actually sexual has happened, even with Vision. yes yes, i know. remember we're not necessarily seeing reality right now.

I mean she acknowledged it was wrong by letting him go....but it was written so incredibly poorly and explored in a super shallow way. Not far off from the previous episode of Wandavision explaining its plot with a baseball bat

Haha I dont want to use the term rape (was more mocking some of the language being users against the WW movie). But yes what she is doing is violating everyone in the town (if she is in control).

Wonder woman (who's portrayed as the sole hero of the film) did it and acted like it was all fine and dandy.

Wanda DIDNT have a sex scene and also has been portrayed as being villainous.

You can bash her actions all you want, but you're.. supposed to do that. With Wonder Woman they expected everyone to overlook it and it backfired.

The criticism came because Wonder Woman didn't even acknowledge how fucked up it was.

In WV, she is currently considered the villain. Hell, Vision confronted her in this weeks episode saying how fucked up it was.

All good points, WW84 was terrible at exploring the ethics of her wish. Lol but I havent seen much hate for Wandas character unlike WW which had like just tweets on tweets on comments of hate for the character. Lol. I wonder if WW84 explored it more would it have still happened
