Solar_Crimson 02/06/21 5:48:17 PM #1:	Not that it's a bad game at all (aside from the fact that there's no save feature at all and it's about half as long as Super Mario World), but it's a mascot platformer released on the SNES during the mascot craze of the early 16-bit era, never got any sequel, and never got ported to any other platform down the line. If it weren't for emulation, it would very much be less remembered than it already is. But its soundtrack is just banging. Noodles_the_dog 02/06/21 6:05:42 PM #7:	I have no idea how or why I got this game all I know is I had it somehow and loved the hell out of it! You're right about the no save feature though, I don't think I ever managed to beat this as a kid. I have a vague memory of playing it 'recently' (as in sometime within the last 10 years lol) on an emulator and managed to make it to the final boss but I can't remember if I beat it. Yep, my mom got it for us, since they basically had control over the games we got (which is why we missed out on many of the SNES classics such as Zelda, Metroid, Castlevania, Mega Man, and Final Fantasy), so aside from Mario and Donkey Kong, we mostly got a bunch of licensed games and other random games. Plok was one of the games we got for one Christmas, and it's definitely a cut above those other random games we got. I never beat it, either. I got as far as the Flea Pit levels. I think it was a bike or a car or something was the furthest I made it, there were a lot of slopes and you had to do well timed jumps. As an adult I made it to the flea queen but I didn't realise you're automatically forced to continuously jump which made avoiding shots really difficult, but I can't for the life of me remember if I beat it or not D: <cite>Noodles_the_dog posted [p:950356173] in Plok's sou...
