I've seen this in articles and heard it on NPR. That Republicans, "economists," and some conservative democrats want the third stimulus check round cut down to lower the burden on the economy. Stimulus checks is just returning the tax people paid... so why not just restore the horrific tax cuts Trump made on the rich? Why are the poor always bearing the brunt of the economic downturn. I mean I know WHY, the rich people have senators in their pockets. But y'know.

And I hate how faceless 'economists' are in the US. It means nothing to me that "many economists" discourage the stimulus checks. You can't head a profession that greenlights fractional reserve banking and then also just throw the name of your profession around to justify your hot takes.

why can't everyone just pull themselves up by their bootstraps? there's absolutely no excuse not to be a millionaire in 2021. it's just a matter of working hard, taking out small loans of a million dollars and starting your own successful businesses.

poors deserve everything they get, which is nothing, which is what they deserve for choosing to be poor.

it's just basic math, honestly. if you want to be a millionaire, and supposing you got a job at the already exorbitant federal minimum wage of $7.25/hr, you only need to work 138,000 hours a year. that isn't that much. people who want $15/hr are just lazies who only want to work 67,000 hours a year to become millionaires.

Why don't we just take all of the money from trump supporters and redistribute it to anti-trump people, prioritizing by lower income?
