It's most likely a very small very bitter group of people and bots. It's easy to stay stupid and angry when it's all you hear in a echo chamber.

Holy crap bucket, so Ollie was doing her Apex endurance stream. Last time she did it, Astel had to come in for assistance, and he became Ollie's aniki. This stream, she was playing for 4 hrs without a win, so Astel had to come in to save the day again.

After they obviously won and Astel did a ridiculous 4.2k dmg lmao, Ollie was thankful and about to say goodbye, but in her joy, she accidentally said arigato Astel onii-chan. Ollie freaked out in embarrassment and the chat was going crazy about how she called him onii-chan. Astel himself pitched in in the teasing and chatted ONIIII CHAAAN or something like that lmfao. They were like clip it clip it as Ollie was so embarrassed and couldn't end the stream cuz she was trying to explain she accidentally said it. I still hear her agonizing over her embarrassment in the background as I'm typing this.

Honestly one of the cutest moments out of Hololive in some time. It was really adorable. There will most likely be clips of this soon

I saw both the very start of this fight and the very end of this fight (and a decent amount of the middle) live and it really was something else lol. Basically the first time she'd really gotten into a game like this, was super unsure she'd even be able to do it at all considering when she mentioned she was doing that route to okayu she basically responded with "good luck lol", and even then I think the difficulty caught her off guard a little. she was taking notes on an actual physical piece of paper about the order of attacks an stuff, it was pretty funny. and then the next day she had an 11ish hour stream that was literally just that fight and still didn't win

the whole experience I think just got her way more into games in general since she streamed a ton of other big name RPGs in a row afterward

Jitomi Monoe of VOMS graduated today due to some contract issue. Pikamee just made a short announcement live stream and sounded really genuinely on the verge of tears.

Really sad about it as Monoe was a pretty great singer.

Holy crap... VOMS might feel a bit lonely. Though VOMS in general collabed a bit too sporadically I think. Pikamee had the cuphead series with Tomoshika, and looks like they did play the Momotaro game with all the VOMS.

Ok now I see, the reason why I felt this was that there was a double one month gap where VOMS didn't meet up, then they did various things every week or two.

Either way this news is really sudden and sad to see her go. Can't tell what kind of contract issues there could've been but I guess we will probably never know.

Oof... I just saw Pikamee and Tomoshika's statement video. It's definitely heartbreaking to hear them cry, especially since Pikamee is always so chipper.

I guess all we'll know is that GYARI wouldn't terminate somebody out of something small, and it was some ongoing thing that Pikamee and Tomoshika knew for a month. VOMS isn't actually a company, neither is GYARI himself who has ownership of the group in a very hobbyist/indie way. So the contract they had wouldn't have been something that was very all-encompassing or complicated either.

Monoe's vids got privated real quick though. I think nobody managed to save all the videos, but the few recent ones might see some uploads in an archive channel somewhere.

Hopefully the group is able to push through this. I can't imagine it'll be easy. Something of this level kinda leaves a scar in small groups like this. I'm sure in time they'll adjust to a new pace but I don't expect it to happen immediately

I know it's not good to speculate but I kinda feel like it was a copyright thing from a bigger company because of this. I saw it on Twitter pretty much as soon as it happened and Monoes channel was already privated. I can't really think of too much else that would warrant a response like that, or one that quick anyway.

That said they are just private and not gone, you can still find some of them with YouTube search wizardry and still on that channel.

Someone on 4chan posted a torrent link to her entire catalog of videos. I don't have it as it's not something i'm interested in doing, but it exists.

If Hololive Alternative was an anime in the same style and setting as the PV, I'd love to see a whole episode devoted to Haachama Cooking with some of the girls going out and gathering some of the ingredients Haachama needs in a spooky forest or a dungeon.

It'll be interesting to see what they do with the characters' personalities. Many of them veered off a lot from what Cover Corp probably originally intended. Will Cover respect the 'Chama or will Haato just be a tsundere idol?

I'm kinda hoping they go for a gen 2 at this point, since just recruiting one person to fill a role would probably leave a bit of a sore spot with Pika and Tomoshika considering the three seemed pretty close from their reactions.
