Etrade has worked well for me. I thought I had read something about them stopping GME sales, but I never got any notice or had any trouble attempting to buy GME when it was going wild. I got in/out too late on that one, but... Etrade is nice, imo.

Is the market order restriction on penny stocks a big problem or is it easy to deal with? Between etrade and fidelity for me rn. Eventually Ill get all my shit off RH and be outta there for good.

Yeah there legit needs to be a tax post at the beginning of each topic. Taxes are confusing and it depends on your type of account. We may be getting to a point where enough regulars understand the process. But that doesnt make it any less confusing lol.

I definitely think we could see it go to $5-10 within the next year, but as littlebro07 stated, $20 is definitely not outside the realm of possibility.

other stocks that went to Texas A&M for Covid work like ENZC has skyrocketed within a couple of months before settling down

so Im thinking $5-10 in the next year with maybe a temporary launch to $20+ in the middle

Nah, you just have to set it as a limit order and then put how many you want.

I'm new to penny stocks and found out that sometimes a large order may go through in pieces at different prices, lol. This put me a bit over on how much I wanted to spend on HCMC today, but oh well.

If any Canadians are wondering about how taxes work for us, the short of it is 50% of your capital gains are added to your yearly income, and you're taxed on that.

E.g. Let's say you make $50,000 profit on Dogecoin, and your annual salary is $50,000. Come tax time, your taxable income will be $75,000 (salary + (capital gains/2)).

This is the case regardless of how long you hold your investments.
