Also the Sonic 1 and 2 intro music and stage completion music are never used in any of the later games anymore. I don't know the specifics, but there's some weird technicality where Sega doesn't have the rights to some of the original songs --- pojr I summon it. Illuminoius 02/12/21 6:16:34 PM #53:	1 and 2's music was done by a popular japanese music group and they have to pay royalties whenever they use the tracks i think they own green hill's music but idk they don't own a chunk of 3&k's ost but there are plenty of tracks by jun sunoue and co they can use (lava reef, angel island, flying battery, marble garden, assorted jingles, etc) and the ones they can't use are pretty clear stylistic outliers (ice cap, carnival night, launch base) <cite>Illuminoius posted [p:950574158] in Sonic 2 Mo...
