The wet, crusted look never looks good on anyone, just a general FYI. It's fine to style, be minimalist. If you run your fingers through your hair and there is a crunching sound, you are going way too hard.

I use herbal essence shampoo and then some leave in conditioner to keep my hair from being dry and thats it.

clean cut - Im they are cool, but having nice medium long hair where you can run your fingers through and create many different hair styles from it is way better

While I can pass for an Indian because of my hair, I'm black.

Medium hair on me imo looks so unprofessional. I look like a hobo, especially if I decide not to shave for a month.

all you need is conditioner every now and then, water spray when you need things presentable, beanie when you don't

My hair is fucking annoying

If I dont wash it for a couple days but just run water through it when showering, I can style it without product and itll look great

if I wash it, nothing I do makes it look good. Falls back into place looking terrible and feels thin and dry

If I put product in it it looks good for like 30 minutes then looks like shit

so the only way for it to look good is to not wash it, but when I dont wash it my scalp and forehead break out in zits
